Tequila G4
In the Highlands, tradition wasn’t preserved.
It was refined.
In the Highlands, tradition wasn’t preserved.
It was refined.
In 1910, the original Camarena distillery was lost during the Mexican Revolution.Everything burned, except one tahona stone.
It wasn’t kept as a relic.
It became a foundation.
A reminder that what matters isn’t what survives but what is rebuilt from it.
That stone still turns today.
A closer look at how precision, water, and family legacy shape every bottle of G4.
Years later, Felipe Camarena rebuilt El Pandillo with a clear vision.
Not to modernize tequila, but to protect what makes it real.
Engineering became a tool, not a shortcut.
Every adjustment made to preserve character, not erase it.
Here, tradition isn’t frozen in time.
It’s refined, tested, and carried forward with purpose.
Selective Harvesting
Only mature agaves are chosen. Respecting both sugar concentration and plant character.
Even Steam Precision
Modified stone ovens inject steam from top and bottom for uniform cooking and maximum sugar development.
Felipestein & Igor
Agave is first broken down by Igor, then slowly pressed by Felipestein. A custom mechanical tahona designed to extract without damaging the fiber.
Open-Air & Family Yeast
Fermentation takes place in open-air tanks using the Camarena family yeast — allowing fiber contact for deeper agave expression.
Precision Distilled
Tall stills shape a spirit that is clean, mineral, and defined.
Real reviews from real customers
Seeing G4 in person was unreal. After drinking it and recommending it for so long, finally witnessing the scale and how everything comes together behind the scenes was next level.
My trip with PKGD tours was out of this world!! We did El Pandillo & El Viejito all in one day, and it couldn’t have been more impactful. From the scenery along the routes, to the people and their inherent passion. These are so much more than your basic level tours. I’m so enthralled in everything we learned, all that we tasted, and all the dedicated hands we met that set these spirits apart from anything else on the market. Salud!
El Pandillo was a bucket list distillery for me, and it was such a blessing to finally make it here! Unfortunately, a lot of it was under construction so I can't wait to come back and see everything finished! It was so surreal to be able to meet Felipe and see the future of El Pandillo through his eyes.
