At La Alteña, nothing was reinvented.
What mattered was protected, carried forward, and refined over time.
At La Alteña, nothing was reinvented.
What mattered was protected, carried forward, and refined over time.
Some families inherit land.
Others inherit responsibility.
After losing their original distillery during the Revolution, the Camarena family chose not to start over, but to continue.
In 1937, La Alteña was built in Arandas.
Not as expansion, but as continuity.
From there, Tapatío was born.
And the way it was made never changed.
Inside Tequila Tapatio - At La Alteña, tradition isn’t a concept.
